Over two decades ago, I was in a car accident that left me with chronic pain. This was the start of my difficulties sleeping.
I was adamant not to go down the road of sleeping pills and other such medications, preferring to find a natural remedy. Melatonin was of no effect, along with many others. I finally had to rely on Advil and then Tylenol every night to quell the pain to the point that I could sleep, but I remained mindful that this was not a healthy long-term solution. Sleep protocols were also followed - no devices in the bedroom, cooler temperatures, meditation, etc. - with limited results.
Finally, I learned of Sleep Like Buddha and was interested to see that the ingredient was passionflower. I also liked that it is vegan and Health Canada-approved. I also like the idea of supporting a Canadian female entrepreneur. I decided to give it a try.
It took several days of taking one capsule at night time to get the desired results - 8 HOURS OF UNINTERRUPTED SLEEP!!! I have now been taking it for two months and what an incredible difference in my mood! I have now heartily recommended this to my doctor, friends, and other medical professionals so they can share this sleep aid and/or use themselves.
Of course, like any herbal remedy, it may not work for everyone depending on a number of variables. Talk to your doctor first if there are underlying conditions or other medications involved. I am just so delighted that it has worked for me!

So very sorry to hear that Sleep Like Buddha did not help you Randa. It does work so well for the vast majority, but everyone is different of course. It can take up to a week of consistent use for full benefits, depending on your sleep issues, though most start sleeping so much better after 3 or 4 nights. We are happy to refund you or send you a different Niyama product to try. Will follow up by email.
My wife and I super enjoy Niyama's protein powder so when my wife looked at me and said there was a natural sleep supplement, I was curious to try it. My wife can attest that I am not a good sleeper, I used to roll, flop, turn, and stay up for hours on end. I would consistently used melatonin to get me to sleep and would be groggy in the morning. The first day after taking Sleep Like Buddha I felt refreshed and sharper mentally, and within a week I was sleeping deeply and continually waking up more and more refreshed in the morning.

I was really curious to try this product as it is one of the few sleep aid products that does not have melatonin in it. Due to the increased screen time I found it harder to settle into a deep sleep and wanted to find a supplement without melatonin, as I did not want to disrupt the pineal glands natural production. This works really well for me and did not leave me with that sleep hangover feeling, like some other sleep aids. I also did not feel any kind of dependency on using and can freely use it when I need it without feeling restless when I don’t. I honestly am looking forward to trying some other products, as every product I have purchased from Niyama has been a winner!
